The proposed directory will showcase businesses owned or operated by Westinghouse alumni, including entrepreneurs, tradespeople, caterers, contractors, ministers, and pastors. The plan is to create an online directory and a digital book, with printed copies offered at the reunion picnic.
The project is being organized by Cassandra and Tammy. Listings are intended to help classmates and the wider community find and support alumni-owned businesses.
Proposed listing options
The board proposal outlines a one-time $50 standard listing and a $100 featured listing. The committee has not voted on final pricing or package details, so these are proposals only.
What to expect
The current target is to assemble the directory and book by February–March 2027, begin sales by May, and have printed copies ready for the picnic. Business submissions, checkout, and ordering instructions will be shared after the committee approves them.
Proposed listing details
The board proposal suggests including business name, owner and class year (if approved), category, short description, logo or image, city or region, and business website or social links. Public contact details would be opt-in; personal home addresses and phone numbers are not required.
Possible future phase
The proposal suggests considering verified reviews later, after the committee approves clear policies, moderation support, and implementation costs. No ratings or reviews are being promised for launch.
